Celebratory bread and cookies for everyone!
Jennifer Lopez officially finished her 10-day no sugar, no carb challenge last night, and she’s feeling good.
The 49-year-old singer and actress, who tackled the eating plan with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, celebrated on her Instagram story on Wednesday.
“Alright guys so I just got back from the gym. It’s day 10. Day 10! We did it; we’re here! I mean, we still have the rest of the day, but I’m feeling pretty good, like we can finish,” Lopez wrote. “Anybody who has stuck with us through the whole 10-day challenge, congratulations.”
Lopez admitted that she and Rodriguez “have struggled through” the program, but she’s ready to do it again.
“Maybe we’ll stop for a few days and then get back on it, so you can join me for the second round,” she said.
She also cheered on Today co-host Hoda Kotb, whom Lopez and Rodriguez had challenged to take on the diet starting Friday — while calling out Carson Daly for giving up so quickly.
“Hoda, you’re still on it. Carson, you are a devil, you’re a demon. But Hoda you’re a beast, you’re a savage,” she said. “So excited that we made it through. And anybody else who stuck in there, congratulations.”
Kotb nearly gave in on Wednesday when Daly offered to donate $5,000 to the charity of her choice if she took a bite of a sugary doughnut. But Kotb held strong, and J-Rod told her they would donate $10,000 in honor of her willpower.
“When you stand for something, you make beautiful things happen. Alex and I will match your donation @carsondaly@hodakotb! A lot can happen in 10 days,” Lopez posted on Instagram. “By the way, is it me, or does Hoda look amazing?!!!”
Kotb replied to the power couple that she “loves you two!!” and that she wants the money to go to Groove With Me, a charity dance studio in Harlem that offers free classes to young girls, or “future J.Los.”
